What’s the same and differance of buying a new car and used car.
In fact, I flatly don’t believe it. New car pros; you are the first owner best warranty likely the fewest problems cons; high initial depreciation high cost used car pros; lower price initially more room to bargain lower depreciation cons; more problems with used cars you don’t know the service history. I am skeptical about the idea that new cars have fewer problems than used ones. However, the new ones are under warranty, so the dealer can monkey around with it a lot and you might not have to pay for it. Give me a car with the bugs worked out any day.
I definitely want a car, not a van or SUV. What cars are best for really tall people? I am getting ready to buy a car and am wondering if anyone knows the best cars for tall people; I am 6’8″
I would say move south (if you aren’t already south) and get a convertible. Question is, do you need a back seat? If not, then pretty much any 4-door car will be okay. I have two friends, one 6’4″ and one 6’6″ and they drive a lancer and a civic, respectively. But nobody can sit behind the driver because they’ve pretty much eaten up all the space.
So I’m writing this story and I need a car name and I suck at cars so can you help me? My main character is a teenage girl (17 years old ) , she is not very rich so she owns this old yet great car.
Old Mercedes SL Series One of those 1980’s Cadillac convertibles A woody Jeep Grand Wagoneer An old VW Beetle An old VW Karmann Ghia An old VW Microbus Old 1980’s Volvo 240 “brick” Just a few old and inexpensive, yet cool cars I know of. My mums first car haha Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Ford Focus this is the old civic. Check out these new cars, too.
What are some fun cars to own/drive that are fuel efficient? I am aware of the Civic Si and the Sentra SE-R, but do any of you have any other vehicles in mind? Let me know about your experiences.
Mazda Miata, Toyota Corolla, Chevy Sprint Turbo (that’s from the 80s) – there’s lots of others. I used to have huge fun in a Toyota MR2 – a berserker four-wheel motorcycle. 1985 Honda Prelude/1996 Honda Prelude with the manual transmition. Shift points at 7200 rpm, a happy-go-lucky little four-banger engine, a telepathic tranny and featherweight clutch, and it got all of 35 mpg even with me driving like a complete gokart fool.
Do you have to pay taxes on a car if your switching cars with a friend and only have to get the title switched? I am trading my car for my friends car and was wondering if when I go and get the title and registration switched if I would have to pay taxes on it.
The vehicle switch is not the same as gifting a vehicle. Gifting is only permitted with immediate family. Plan on paying taxes. I say yes because all DMVs are greedy. Try to put as a gift. But they still want a minimum tax even when it is old.
